To me, fitness is a lot like brushing one’s teeth. You don’t announce to the world that you do it every day. It’s just part of your routine. You get up in the morning, lace up your sneaks, and get your heart pumping.

Life is full of incredible options. Want a cookie? Eat it. See a mountain? Climb it. Opt to love your life and embrace the current you. Not the you in your post-goal photo. Not the you in the future. But the you that everyone sees without being told.

I created this blog to chronicle the life and times of my personal fitness. I am dedicated to health and fitness simply because I find it enjoyable. It’s not a “necessary evil.” It’s not a time to beat. It’s what I love to do because it makes me feel alive.

I believe that there is more to life than fitness but fitness makes it better.
